MISSING - Blank Edition

£35.00

Lino-cut print in midnight black ink on an off-white, 100% recycled, 90gsm paper.

A recreation of the photocopied 'Missing' poster used to promote the film 'The Blair Witch Project' (1999).

To spread the belief that the footage in the film was real; that the young film-makers really had disappeared into the woods, this flier was posted around college campuses and cinemas.
An early online campaign also circulated rumours on message-boards, creating a suburban legend that would spread among peer groups long after it's original myth had been dispelled.

Each copy has been printed by hand meaning no two are alike.
Signed and numbered on the reverse. Edition of 20.

Measures 36cm x 29cm (slightly smaller than A3).
Packaged in a stiff cardboard envelope.

CLIMBING FOAM holds no rights to this imagery. This is a bootleg, 100% unofficial.

This print was made to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Blair Witch Project and it’s enduring legacy as a piece of modern folklore.
